Hey remember when I said I'll be making myself busy for the summer with some important things to do in my last journal? Well now I'm finally got myself something to do. I need to finish my volunteer hours since it's a graduation requirement in my school's system and I need to finish 40 of them which I haven't done at all. I already goofed off the past 3 years not doing it and I only have one year left of highschool once this summer ends. But I am doing my volunteer hours for summer. I'm volunteering at a "summer institute" for kids from grades 1-9 (I think) same place my youngest brother is going for summer school. I've applied myself there as a volunteer. I'm not sure what I'll be doing there but I'm already nervous thinking about it. It's not like I don't like little kids it's just that I feel a little uneasy around them and I get awkward. The only experience I get with interacting with little kids are my youngest brother, my younger cousins and my reading buddy from years ago. Well I just hope I can survive this, if not somebody get in there and save me! lol.
